Job summary

Wexford Senior Care Center is seeking a Life Enrichment Activities Aide to deliver and lead daily enrichment programs that brighten residents’ lives. You’ll facilitate activities that support physical and mental well-being, from games to music and crafts, while promoting a welcoming atmosphere.

The role offers part-time scheduling with rotating weekends and holidays, and includes benefits, tuition assistance, and competitive pay with hero pay.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of related experience in long term care preferred.
• Associates in Music or Recreational Therapy preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care!
• You are a team player, dedicated to doing what it takes to support your team members and get the job done.

Responsibilities

• Assist and lead group and one-on-one life enrichment programs.
• Encourage attendance and transport to and from life enrichment programs.
• Evaluate patients according to their background, life enrichment interests, abilities, physical limitations, and needs for meaningful programs.
• Develop and display thematic and holiday decorations throughout the facility.
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, families, and visitors.
