Job summary

Uplift and Inspire is seeking a passionate Life Coach (Direct Support Professional) to support individuals in West Chester, PA. This role focuses on hands-on care, guidance, and empowering independence in daily activities.

Schedule: 10am–4pm, Tuesday and Thursday. Join a mission-driven team dedicated to uplifting participants through person-centered care and mentorship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Degree in human services or psychology preferred.
• DSP, caregiver, or life coach experience is a plus.
• Ability to pass background checks and have a valid license/transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support and personalized care to individuals with disabilities or special needs.
• Assist clients with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.
• Develop and implement individualized support plans to promote independence and personal growth.
• Offer emotional support, mentorship, and life coaching to empower clients toward their goals.
• Document client progress, incidents, and daily activities accurately and in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care.
• Facilitate community integration activities and social skill-building opportunities.
