Job summary

Bethany Christian Services seeks a Safe Families for Children Licensing & Intake Coordinator to connect families with resources and guide them through pre-licensing processes. You will manage intake, training coordination, and licensing support while ensuring confidentiality and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in child welfare, a strong emphasis on documentation, and experience with DCS licensing. The role may require some evenings or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Postsecondary education in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in child welfare, foster care, or a related human services field.
• Experience in intake, training coordination, licensing support, and foster family engagement.
• Familiarity with DCS licensing requirements and foster care regulations.
• Must pass a criminal history screen and background checks.
• Must be 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and at least 3 years driving experience in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the initial contact for SFFC inquiries and licensing information.
• Conduct pre-screening assessments to evaluate eligibility and alignment.
• Coordinate intake and onboarding with timely progress through pre-licensing steps.
• Schedule and facilitate pre-service training in compliance with state requirements.
• Track applications, documentation, and deadlines to ensure compliance.
• Maintain accurate records in agency databases.
• Collaborate with Licensing Specialists to transition families to licensure.
• Support recruitment through outreach events and community engagement.
