Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of professional experience gathering and analyzing information in a social service or law enforcement program, and a bachelor’s degree.
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Compliance Inspections: conduct initial, annual, interim, provisional follow-up, and complaint inspections to evaluate adherence to state laws, regulations, and procedures.
• Information Gathering: interview residents, staff, families, and professionals, and review medical, legal, and program documents to assess compliance.
• Technical Guidance: provide operators and staff with advice and assistance related to regulatory requirements.
• Documentation Preparation: use computer systems to draft violation reports, prepare licensing packets, and maintain records.
• Coordination Efforts: work with agencies, supervisors, and other representatives to plan inspections and obtain key information.
• Enforcement Actions: monitor plans of correction, recommend enforcement measures, and participate in hearings when required.
