Job summary

This role oversees licensing representatives and guides the inspections, investigations, and regulatory actions that support safe and lawful operation of personal care homes and assisted living residences. As a Human Services Licensing Supervisor, you will perform the following duties:

• Team Supervision: Directlicensing representatives and guide daily responsibilities
• Inspection Management: Assign and lead inspections for personal care homes and assisted living residences
• Complaint Oversight: Review, prioritize, and monitor complaint and incident investigations
• Training Direction: Develop and implement individualized training plans for licensing staff
• Agency Coordination: Work with state, federal, and local agencies on licensing-related matters
• Emergency Planning: Devise and implement relocation plans for residents when facilities close

Work Schedule and Additional Information

• Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
• Work hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• Travel is required.
• Home Headquartered: This position is home headquartered. In order to be home headquartered, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements

• One year of experience as a Human Services Licensing Representative (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
• Three years of professional experience gathering and analyzing information in a social service or law enforcement program and a bachelor's degree; or
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Other Requirements

• You must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Central Region which includes Adams, Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Fulton Huntingdon, Juniata, Lancaster, Lebanon, Mifflin, Perry, Somerset, and York counties.

• You must be able to perform essential job functions.
