Position Summary
Universal Music Group is seeking a highly organized and service-oriented Licensing Coordinator (Temp) to support the Partnerships & Licensing team. This role is responsible for providing administrative and client support across licensing activities, lead research, database management, and account coordination. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while delivering best-in-class customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for clients and the Partnerships & Licensing team via requests by phone, email, and virtual meetings.
- Serve as frontline support for client service inquiries as well as provide support for Licensing & Partnership Executives and team members as needed.
- Support the Partnerships team by researching prospective leads and identifying appropriate client and decision‑maker contact information through LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, and other research resources.
- Assist with the distribution of sales leads to the Licensing team via email and/or via Salesforce in a timely and accurate manner.
- Update and maintain Salesforce account records to ensure contracts, account details, and agreement terms remain current and accurate.
- Support the completion and closeout of incoming license contracts.
- Handle account setup activities, which include client logins, password resets, and music download/Sound FX access requests.
- Assist clients with billing administration and payment setup.
- Support Licensing & Partnership Executives with client‑related requests and additional administrative tasks.
- Respond to incoming calls, virtual chats, and general client inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist with various ad hoc projects for the Partnership & Licensing team.
Qualifications

- Strong customer service mindset with a professional and collaborative approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems preferred.
- Strong research, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively across teams and departments.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
- Previous experience in music licensing or sales administration, customer service, or entertainment/media preferred.
