Job summary

HUB International is seeking a Licensing & Contracting (L&C) Associate in Providence, RI. This role manages the full contracting lifecycle and state licensing activities, coordinating with carriers, producers, and leadership to ensure compliant, efficient processes.

The ideal candidate has insurance industry experience, strong attention to detail, and comfort with licensing platforms. Hybrid on-site 3 days/week with remote options for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• State licensing and carrier contracting experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience with licensing portals and carrier systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Support state licensing process, including new applications and renewals.
• Verify active licenses in required states prior to contracting.
• Track license expirations and communicate renewal deadlines.
• Manage end-to-end carrier contracting and appointment process.
• Maintain knowledge of carrier forms and submission standards.
• Coordinate training requirements and AML/CE obligations for agents.
