Job summary

Prescient Edge is seeking a Licensing & Contract Administrator to support a federal government client in Doral, Florida. You will manage software licensing agreements, renewals, and ensure compliance with DFARS and FAR while supporting DoD procurement policies.

You will optimize license usage, prepare the Licensing & Compliance Report, maintain a centralized license register, and coordinate with procurement to prevent redundancy and budget overruns.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in license tracking, contract interpretation, and cost optimization for software/hardware procurements.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills; experience with DFARS/FAR processes.

Description
  • Manage software licensing agreements, renewals, and compliance with DFARS, FAR, and applicable cybersecurity mandates.
  • Ensure the optimization of service license utilization, coordinating with procurement management to prevent redundancy and cost overruns.
  • Submit the Software Licensing & Compliance Report, detailing license usage, renewal timelines, and compliance with procurement regulations.
  • Maintain a centralized license utilization register to ensure alignment with procurement ceilings, prevent duplicative purchases, and support budget transparency across the IDIQ portfolio.
Requirements
Experience
  • Possess the knowledge and capability to manage software licenses, contract renewals, and vendor compliance, ensuring legal and regulatory adherence.
  • Personnel must be proficient in license tracking, contract interpretation, and cost optimization strategies for software and hardware procurements.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
  • Personnel must have demonstrated expertise in the DFARS and FAR processes for software and technology licensing, ensuring compliance with DoD acquisition regulations and intellectual property policies.
  • Personnel must have experience managing enterprise software licenses, tracking renewal cycles, and ensuring vendor compliance with federal procurement requirements. Experience with DoD licensing agreements, SaaS procurement, and enterprise contract negotiation is required.
Education
  • A Bachelor's degree in Contract Law, Business Management, or a related field, or four (4) years of equivalent experience in contract administration.
  • Desirable but not required certifications include Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) or IT Asset Management (ITAM) Certification.
Security Clearance
  • Must be a US citizen and able to obtain a clearance.
