Job summary

The Fountain Group is seeking a licensing coordinator in Clayton, MO to monitor and follow up on license applications, renewals, amendments, and registrations. You will verify statuses, obtain issuance copies, and maintain thorough records.

Collaborate with CSA and Filing Specialists to resolve issues promptly and document process changes. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 1–2 years of relevant experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 1-2 years of customer service, licensing, administrative, data entry, regulatory compliance, or related experience highly preferred.
• Outstanding skills using personal computers in a Windows-based environment (including Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe PDF, and database applications).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and follow up on license applications, renewals, amendments, registrations, and closure filings to obtain confirmation of approval, issuance, or completion.
• Obtain copies of issued licenses, permits, certificates, registrations, and other evidence of approval or issuance.
• Research and verify licensing statuses through agency websites, online databases, telephone calls, emails, and written correspondence.
• Work closely with Customer Success Associates (CSA), Filing Specialists, and other internal teams to ensure timely resolution of pending licensing matters.
• Maintain accurate records of agency communications, status updates, and issued licensing documents within internal systems.
• Identify delays, deficiencies, or barriers to issuance and elevate issues as appropriate.
• Ensure that changes to agency confirmation procedures or issuance processes are documented within internal databases by communicating updates to BL's onboarding and research teams.
• Review issued licenses and approval documents for accuracy and coordinate corrections when necessary.
• Perform account audits and special projects related to licensing compliance.
