Rainbow USA in Brooklyn, NY seeks a detail-focused Accountant – Business License Coordinator to manage license compliance across multiple locations. You will file licenses, renewals, and corporate reports while maintaining records and supporting property tax matters.

The role requires a degree in accounting or related fields and at least 2 years of licensing/compliance experience, with strong Excel/Word proficiency and communications skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills are essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all state and local business license requirements.
• Prepare and process new business license applications.
• Complete and file annual and quarterly business license renewals by required deadlines.
• Track, receive, and distribute approved business licenses to District Managers and store locations.
• Maintain electronic business license records and filing systems.
• Communicate with Store Managers and District Managers regarding business license and personal property tax matters.
• Prepare and file annual corporate reports.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors for personal property tax filings.
• Assist with payment and tracking of personal property tax bills.
• Support tax management with information gathering and documentation for tax audits and compliance projects.
