Job summary

BetMGM is seeking a Licensing Support Specialist in Jersey City, NJ to support the administration and development of its licensing program. You will collaborate with multiple departments to ensure regulatory compliance across states.

Key duties include license tracking, processing applications, renewals, fingerprinting coordination, and maintaining data confidentiality in a highly regulated gaming environment. Prior paralegal or compliance experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment, maintaining a proper mental attitude to deal effectively with management, employees, regulatory agencies and professional advisors
• Excellent customer service skills
• Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
• Highly organized with superior attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Paralegal or legal assistance experience is a plus
• Previous experience in a highly regulated environment (gaming industry preferred)

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and continually develop occupational and vendor license tracking program
• Assist with various aspects of occupational licensing process: completion and submission of application forms, updates to information, renewals etc.
• Coordinate employee licensing procedure for BetMGM launch in new and existing states
• Review licensing and reporting requirements in controls and regulations
• Responsible for administrative tasks such as coordinating fingerprinting appointments, submitting various forms of license applications and tracking schedule of fees due to regulatory bodies
• Maintain confidential company and personal data
• Other job-related duties as requested
