Job summary

Trevecca Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Tennessee seeks a full-time Respiratory Therapist to join our skilled nursing team. The ideal candidate has a state license, can evaluate and treat independently, and is passionate about geriatric care.

You will perform assessments, initiate therapies, maintain records, and support nursing staff through education and bedside interventions. Experience with tracheostomy is preferred within a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program and licensed as RRT/CRT.
• Licensed in the state in which practicing; BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Completes assessments and implements respiratory techniques to progress rehab patients.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, and operate/assemble equipment.
• Perform bedside treatments and contribute to nursing training quarterly.
• Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly documentation; participate in IDT meetings.
• Experience with tracheostomy and long-term care settings; follow facility procedures.
• Track, audit, and manage caseload; perform related duties as required.
