Job summary

Nashville Center For Rehabilitation and Healing seeks a full-time Respiratory Therapist to join a skilled nursing team. The RT will assess residents, perform bedside therapies, document progress, and participate in IDT meetings. Must hold a current state license and be able to work independently with geriatric patients.

Experience with tracheotomy and long-term care is preferred; the role emphasizes compassionate care and adherence to facility protocols.

Qualifications

• Must possess a license in the state of practice and be BLS certified.
• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program; licensed as RRT or CRT.
• Experience in long-term care is preferred; ability to evaluate and treat independently.

Responsibilities

• Completes assessments and implements respiratory techniques for rehab patients.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate and assemble equipment.
• Perform bedside treatments and complete daily/weekly/monthly documentation.
• Attend IDT meetings and manage caseload; experience with tracheotomy beneficial.
