Job summary

WesTech Engineering LLC in Eastover, SC is hiring a Licensed Wastewater Operations Technician to join a dedicated team. The role offers competitive pay starting at $35 per hour, with overtime opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package based on experience.

Ideal candidates will hold a South Carolina Class A Wastewater Certification and have 4+ years of related water/wastewater experience. This is a permanent, on-site position with a schedule featuring a 2-2-3 rotation to support work/life

Qualifications

SC Class A Wastewater Certification required.
4+ years of water/wastewater experience required.
Licensed Wastewater Operations Technician preferred.

Responsibilities

Conducts water sample testing to analyze plant performance and optimize operations.
Maintains accurate logs and records of plant activities.
Calibrates equipment including pumps, valves, and sensors for optimal performance.
Troubleshoots pumps, drive units, and related components to minimize downtime.
Monitors treatment parameters (pH, turbidity, TSS, ORP) and adjusts processes accordingly.
Ensures safety procedures are followed and PPE is worn at all times.
Documents operational data using Microsoft Office and logs.
Performs preventative maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.
