Job summary

WesTech is seeking a Water/Wastewater Operations Technician for our Eastover, South Carolina facility. You will manage daily plant operations, monitor treatment processes, and ensure safety and compliance while maintaining detailed records.

You’ll perform calibrations, troubleshoot pumps and instrumentation, and work closely with the team to optimize performance and reliability of the wastewater treatment system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with state wastewater certification.
• 5 years water/wastewater experience; at least 3 years in the field.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to pass drug screen and background checks.
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor WWTP equipment and processes.
• Record keeping and reporting of plant data.
• Calibrate pumps, valves, and instrumentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical/mechanical issues.
• Ensure safety procedures and PPE compliance.
• Collaborate with team and customer for smooth daily operations.
