Job summary

Inframark is seeking a licensed Wastewater Operator to join its Operations and Maintenance team in Alabama. The role involves hands-on operation and maintenance of municipal wastewater treatment plants, testing, monitoring, and responding to emergencies.

The candidate will work independently, with potential weekend and after-hours shifts, and support client operations while ensuring safety and compliance. CDL preferred and Alabama license required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in water/wastewater operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate a wide range of equipment and machinery at wastewater plants.
• Conduct routine testing and monitoring of water/wastewater systems.
• Perform and document treatment processes and equipment maintenance.
• Respond to callouts and after-hours emergencies.
• Train staff on plant operations and safety practices.
• Coordinate maintenance activities within the facility.
