Job summary

Heritage Park Nursing Center in Upland, CA, part of Generations Healthcare, is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for a Full Time PM shift from 3pm to 11pm with weekend availability.

The LVN will provide primary skin care to residents under physician and nursing leadership, with emphasis on skin disorder treatment and therapy. Background checks and pre-employment screening are required.

Qualifications

• Current active license to practice as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in California.
• Behavioral health experience preferred.
• Prior Skilled Nursing Facility experience or Behavioral Health.
• Superior customer service and desire to be part of a dynamic team.
• Strong communication, teamwork and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary skin care to residents under medical direction, focusing on treatment and therapy of skin disorders.
• Modify treatment regimens to meet residents' physical and psycho-social needs within facility policies.

Heritage Park Nursing Center, a Generations Healthcare facility, is in search of a Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team with behavioral health experience.
Job Description:
The primary role of the Licensed Vocational Nurse is to provide primary skin care to residents under the medical direction and supervision of the residents’ attending physicians, the Director of Nursing Services, or the Medical Director of the facility, with an emphasis on treatment and therapy of skin disorders. You will also assist in modifying the treatment regimen to meet the physical and psycho-social needs of the resident, in accordance with established medical practices and the requirements of this state and the policies and goals of this facility.
