AltaMed Health Services seeks an LVN to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician in a community clinic setting.

The role emphasizes vital signs, data collection, medication administration, and comprehensive care for geriatric patients, with preference for candidates holding a California LVN license and a current BLS certification. Multilingual abilities are a plus in serving diverse communities.

Competenze

• Graduation from an accredited LVN school.
• Current LVN license issued by the State of California, Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience as an LVN is preferred.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience working with a frail or elderly population is preferred.
• Experience and knowledge regarding the physical, mental, and social needs of geriatric patients are preferred.
• A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.
• Bilingual Spanish, Mandarin, and Cantonese highly preferred.

Job Overview

The LVN provides direct patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Physician. The LVN tasks include, but are not limited to, vital signs, data gathering, medication administration, and rendering patient care/treatments.

Minimum Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited LVN school.

Compensation

Pay for this job starts at $31.93 hourly
