PetVet Care Centers is hiring a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) at our Chicago Equine Medical Center in Wauconda, IL. You will deliver high-quality patient care, perform exams, assist surgery, manage records, and support clients with compassion and professionalism. Qualifications

High school diploma or GED (as prerequisite).
Experience with veterinary appointments, surgeries, and nursing care for hospitalized/critical patients.

Responsibilities

Determine animal requirements by examinations and records review; assist with diagnostics.
Care for patients by taking vitals, administering medications, vaccines, and wound care.
Assist in examinations and surgeries by preparing supplies and restraining patients as directed.
Maintain medical records and communicate with pet owners as directed by the veterinarian.
Handle inventory, equipment maintenance, and ensure clean, safe holding areas.
