Job summary

Ethos Veterinary Health is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician (CVT/LVT/RVT) for a dentistry-focused role in Short Pump, VA. This full-time position features a schedule of 3x12-hour shifts, Monday–Wednesday, 7am–7pm, with a pay rate of $27/hour and up plus a $3,000 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities include advanced anesthesia management, surgical nursing, radiographs, and perioperative care. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), PTO, CE allowance, and more.

Qualifications

• Credentialed veterinary technician with CVT/RVT/LVT credentials.
• Emergency specialty experience required.

Responsibilities

• Credentialed veterinary technician with strong technical skills (IV access, venipuncture, anesthesia management, perioperative nursing, radiographs).
• Adapt to the diverse needs of each patient while remaining calm under stress.
• Pursue ongoing learning and professional growth within veterinary medicine.
• Assist veterinarians in advanced anesthetic procedures and perioperative care.
• Perform diagnostic sample collection, imaging, and lab submissions.

Licensed Veterinary Technician Responsibilities

• Credentialed veterinary technician withstrong technical skills(to include placing IV catheters, venipuncture, administering premedication, anesthesia induction & monitoring, patient preparation, surgical nursing, and perioperative nursing care, radiographs, etc.)
• You caneasily adapt to the different needs of each patientand are able to remain composed during stressful and emotional situations.
• You are looking for a career and arepassionate about learningand growing in the industry and caring for animals.
• Assist veterinarians in advanced anesthetic procedures, including pre- medication, intubation, surgical prep, and monitoring.
• Perform diagnostic sample collection, imaging, and lab submissions.

• Certified, Registered, or Licensed Veterinary Technician (CVT/RVT/LVT)
• Emergency specialty experience required

• Ability to work in a fast-paced veterinary environment
