Job summary

Virginia Veterinary Centers is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician (CVT/RVT/LVT) for a Critical Care role at Short Pump, VA. This full-time position offers four 10-hour day shifts (Mon–Fri) with pay of $30-$35/hr and a full benefits package.

You will provide advanced anesthesia management, perioperative nursing, radiographs, and skilled patient care in a fast-paced clinical setting. Credentialed technicians committed to exceptional patient outcomes and ongoing growth are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Credentialed veterinary technician (CVT, LVT, or RVT) required.
• Emergency specialty experience preferred.

Schedule

• Four, ten- hour shifts per week
• Day shift
• Some holidays as needed

Licensed Veterinary Technician Responsibilities

• Credentialed veterinary technician withstrong technical skills (to include placing IV catheters, venipuncture, administering premedication, anesthesia induction & monitoring, patient preparation, surgical nursing, and perioperative nursing care, radiographs, etc.)
• You caneasily adapt to the different needs of each patient and are able to remain composed during stressful and emotional situations.
• You are looking for a career and arepassionate about learning and growing in the industry and caring for animals.
