Clairmont Animal Hospital in Decatur is seeking a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our long‑standing practice dedicated to high‑quality care. You will support DVMs with nursing, anesthesia monitoring, lab work, and dental/radiology duties in an AAHA‑accredited hospital.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AVMA‑accredited Veterinary Technician program.
• Current state veterinary technician license in good standing.
• Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and lab procedures.
• Calm and efficient approach in fast-paced environments.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.
• One year of veterinary industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care including treatments, anesthesia monitoring and lab work.
• Lead and mentor team members to ensure efficient workflow.
• Educate clients on treatments, review medical records and answer questions.
• Maintain high standards and contribute to a positive hospital culture.
