Job summary

VCA Decatur Animal Hospital in Las Vegas, NV is seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our clinical team. The successful candidate will contribute to high-quality veterinary medicine, patient care, and client service in a busy hospital setting.

We value teamwork, ongoing education, and a positive work environment. Licensing in Nevada is required, with a 40-hour work week and alternating Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Licensing required in Nevada.
• Formal veterinary technician credentials (CVT/RVT/LVT) preferred.
• Experience supporting a veterinary clinical team.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical examinations and patient assessment.
• 0Monitor anesthesia and patient safety during procedures.
• Assist with surgical preparation and support.
• Conduct dentistry, radiology, and laboratory tasks.
• Perform venipuncture and catheter placement as needed.
• Support patient recovery and provide compassionate care.

Job description

VCA Decatur Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our team!

The successful candidate will be a believer in the possibilities of high quality veterinary medicine and patient care—with the expertise and technical know-how to make them happen.

Location: Las Vegas, Nevada 89108

Full-time, 40 hours a week, alternating Saturdays with 3 weekday shifts.

Pay: $25.00 - $29.00/hr. Licensing required.
