Job summary

Destination Pet, LLC seeks a Licensed Veterinary Medical Technician (LVMT) at Brown Dog Lodge Veterinary Clinic – Arlington, TN. You will work as a clinical driver, performing anesthesia, dentistry, diagnostics, and nursing duties while mentoring team members.

This position offers a structured growth ladder and competitive, transparent pay. We provide a $1,500 signing bonus, 3 weeks of PTO, CE allowances, and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance plus a 401(k)

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Tennessee LVMT license.
• Proficiency in surgery and dentistry.
• Credentialed technicians are clinical drivers of patient care with transparent pay and growth.

Responsibilities

• Anesthesia & Analgesia: IV catheterization, pain management, induction, monitoring.
• Dentistry: Full-mouth radiography, charting, periodontal therapy.
• Diagnostics: In-house lab analysis, radiography, sample collection.
• Nursing & Triage: Patient monitoring, wound care, catheter management.
• Workflow Leadership: Lead tech appointments, team huddles, mentoring.

Your Role – Clinical Driver & Leader

As a Credentialed Veterinary Technician (LVMT), you will be encouraged to work at the top of your license and serve as a clinical leader, ensuring medical excellence with a patient-first mindset. We follow AAHAutilizationguidance consistently.

You will primarilyutilizeyour skills in:

• Anesthesia & Analgesia: Full IV catheterization, multimodal pain management, induction, and advanced monitoring/recovery.

• Dentistry: Full-mouth dental radiography, charting, and periodontal therapy (per DVM direction).

• Diagnostics: High-quality radiography/positioning, in-house lab analysis, and sample collection.

• Nursing & Triage: Critical patient monitoring, advanced wound care, and managing catheters/feeding tubes.

• Workflow Leadership: Leading tech appointments, team huddles, and mentoring assistants/externs.
