Destination Pet LLC is hiring a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) for North Shore Animal Hospital – Bayside, NY. The role emphasizes practicing at the top of the license, leading clinical care, and contributing to a collaborative veterinary team.

Your Role – Clinical Driver & Leader

As a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT), you will be encouraged to work at the top of your license and serve as a clinical leader, ensuring medical excellence with a patient‑first mindset. We follow AAHA utilization guidance consistently.

You will primarily utilize your skills in:

• Anesthesia & Analgesia: Full IV catheterization, multimodal pain management, induction, and advanced monitoring/recovery.
• Dentistry: Full-mouth dental radiography, charting, and periodontal therapy (per DVM direction).
• Diagnostics: High-quality radiography/positioning, in‑house lab analysis, and sample collection.
• Nursing & Triage: Critical patient monitoring, advanced wound care, and managing catheters/feeding tubes.
• Workflow Leadership: Leading tech appointments, team huddles, and mentoring assistants/externs.

Schedule: Full-time with flexible scheduling options (choose 4 ten‑hour or 5 eight‑hour shifts) and a predictable weekend rotation.
