Job summary

Alliance Health Group seeks an experienced Traveling Licensed HVAC Technician to support multiple healthcare facilities across North Carolina. This role involves traveling between facilities to troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and service HVAC and related mechanical systems in patient-care environments.

The ideal candidate will be dependable, capable of working independently, and able to coordinate with facility staff and leadership to keep systems operating reliably and in survey-ready

Qualifications

• Valid HVAC license/certification as required for the work performed.
• Healthcare or commercial facility experience preferred.
• Ability and willingness to travel regularly between company facilities.

Responsibilities

• Travel to multiple facilities to perform HVAC service and repairs.
• Diagnose and repair heating, cooling, ventilation and related mechanical equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on HVAC systems.
• Respond to urgent HVAC issues at facilities as needed.
• Troubleshoot packaged units, split systems, heat pumps, air handlers and related equipment.
• Identify failing equipment and recommend repairs or replacement.
• Maintain accurate documentation of repairs, preventive maintenance, parts and equipment condition.
• Work with facility maintenance staff and leadership to resolve HVAC concerns.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors when additional support is required.
• Maintain clean and safe mechanical rooms and work areas.
• Assist facilities with maintaining HVAC systems in a safe, reliable, and survey-ready condition.
• Follow company safety policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
