Job summary

Southeast Family Project seeks a Licensed Therapist to provide leadership and direct treatment for women with serious substance use and co-occurring needs. This role emphasizes compassionate, trauma-informed care for pregnant and postpartum women in a residential setting.

You will deliver individual and group therapy, coordinate OB/GYN linkages, and ensure documentation meets Medicaid requirements while supporting stabilization and recovery for families.

Qualifications

• LCSW or LPC license required.
• Minimum 2 years post-graduate related experience.
• Extensive experience with the program's client population.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group substance use and co-occurring interventions.
• Complete screenings and clinical assessments; develop treatment plans.
• Coordinate medical/linkages (OB/GYN) and collaborate with high-risk obstetrical providers.
• Conduct crisis intervention and urine toxicology monitoring.
• Support medication administration and self-administration; care coordination.
• Maintain Medicaid-ready documentation in compliance with licensing standards.

Licensed Therapist, Substance Use Disorder (SUD) - Southeast Family Project

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30 am to 5 pm

Annual Salary: $79,036

The Southeast Family Project (SEFP) provides gender-specific residential substance use treatment for non-pregnant, pregnant, and recently postpartum women diagnosed with substance use disorders. Licensed as both a 3.5 and 3.1 comprehensive residential treatment program, SEFP offers a safe, stable, and supportive environment focused on stabilization, recovery, and the well-being of women and their families. The Licensed Therapist (LCSW or LPC) provides clinical leadership and direct treatment services to women with serious substance use and co-occurring needs.

Key responsibilities include providing individual and group substance use and co-occurring interventions, completing screenings and clinical assessments, developing treatment plans, coordinating medical and OB/GYN linkages, and collaborating with high-risk obstetrical providers. The role also includes crisis intervention, urine toxicology monitoring, symptom and behavior management, support of medication administration/self-administration, care coordination, and maintaining accurate, Medicaid-ready documentation in compliance with licensing and regulatory standards.

Require qualifications/skills:

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
• Two (2) years of post-graduate, related experience.
• Extensive experience with the program's client population.
