Job summary

The Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board seeks a Licensed Therapist (LCSW or LPC) for the Southeast Family Project to support women with substance use disorders during pregnancy and postpartum. The role combines leadership with direct treatment services from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am–5 pm.

Responsibilities include individual and group interventions, comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, care coordination, and Medicaid-compliant documentation while collaborating with obstetric

Qualifications

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
• Two years of post-graduate, related experience.
• Extensive experience with the program's client population.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group substance use and co-occurring interventions.
• Complete screenings and clinical assessments.
• Develop treatment plans.
• Coordinate medical and OB/GYN linkages.
• Crisis intervention and urine toxicology monitoring.
• Support medication administration/self-administration.
• Care coordination and Medicaid-ready documentation.
