Job summary

CareStar, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Therapist for Intensive Home-Based Treatment (IHBT) to support the OhioRISE program. This full-time role blends remote work with field visits across Warren, Clermont, and Butler Counties in Ohio.

You will conduct assessments, formulate care plans, provide individual/family/group therapy, and coordinate services to empower families toward stability and independence, while maintaining compliant documentation and privacy standards.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required; independent licensure (LISW, LPCC, LMFT) or working toward licensure.
• Experience working with youth and families in home or community-based settings.
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid, insurance and waiver programs; ability to navigate community resources.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based practices.
• Deliver services 3–5 hours per week per client over 3–6 months.
• Implement crisis intervention and safety planning as needed.
• Coordinate referrals and link families to resources and supports.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with Medicaid and agency standards.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and ethical practice.
• Collaborate with caregivers to support parenting strategies and family functioning.
