Job summary

Landpoint is seeking a Licensed Surveyor/Staff Surveyor to plan, perform, and oversee surveying work with flexible remote options. The role involves coordinating projects, communicating with clients, and preparing survey documents in accordance with professional standards and state licensure requirements.

Responsibilities include conducting boundary/topographic/construction surveys, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining QA/QC procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field preferred.
• Licensure in Louisiana is preferred.
• Experience in land surveying including boundary, topographic, and construction surveys.
• Strong knowledge of surveying principles, standards, and applicable laws.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble, and related surveying software.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project scope, objectives, schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Serve as primary contact for technical survey-related matters and provide client updates.
• Conduct or oversee boundary, topographic, construction surveys and related work.
• Review data, drawings, and deliverables for completeness and accuracy; implement QC procedures.
• Maintain accurate project records, field notes, calculations, and correspondence; prepare reports and plats.
• Assist invoicing by reviewing progress and coordinating with accounting and operations staff.
• Identify potential issues affecting deliverables and ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
