Job summary

Licensed or certified in California, you will work under supervision and participate in after-hours coverage as needed, contributing to recovery and safety in a diverse community.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of counseling theories and techniques for individuals, couples, and groups.
• Understanding of substance use disorder treatment and related services.
• Familiarity with Lanterman-Petris-Short and Short-Doyle processes.
• Awareness of crisis intervention methods and safety planning.

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals, families, and groups to provide case management and recovery support.
• Provide counseling services in clinic, jail, hospital, or community settings.
• Develop and implement treatment plans and assess progress.
• Coordinate access to housing, employment, and community resources.
• Respond to crises with after-hours, mobile, and in-community interventions.
