Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Project Manager for hybrid remote work focused on building systems engineering in California. You will manage projects and staff, coordinate with contractors and architects, and ensure seismic design and nonstructural components are properly implemented.

The role requires a Master’s in structural engineering (or 5-year Architectural Engineering degree), 8–10 years of experience, and a California PE license (SE license or licensure in progress preferred).

Qualifications

• Master's degree in structural engineering or 5-year Architectural Engineering degree.
• 8–10 years experience in building structural engineering.
• California PE license required; SE license or licensure in progress preferred.
• Strong project management skills and collaboration with contractors/ architects.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written skills; seismic design proficiency.
• Proficient with RAM, ETABS, SAP2000, and RISA 3D; 3D modeling tools a plus.

Responsibilities

• Project and personnel management including staffing and client relations.
• Design of nonstructural components, architectural features, and seismic bracing.
• Structural evaluation and development of strengthening/retrofit designs.
