Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead the design and delivery of complex building structures, coordinating with BIM/modeling teams and working closely with architects, contractors, and consultants.

The role emphasizes structural analysis, cross-functional coordination, and project leadership, with a focus on steel and concrete systems. California codes and seismic design familiarity are valued. Hybrid work options available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of structural engineering experience focused on building design.
• Experience with multiple structural materials (steel, concrete, wood, etc.).
• Proficiency with structural analysis/design tools (ETABS, RAM, RISA, or similar).
• PE license required or in progress (SE is a plus).
• Familiarity with seismic design and California building codes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for a variety of building types, with an emphasis on steel and concrete systems.
• Prepare and coordinate construction documents alongside BIM/modeling teams.
• Work closely with architects, contractors, and consultants throughout all phases of design.
• Support project leadership with scheduling, coordination, and technical execution.
• Assist with construction administration tasks including RFIs, submittals, and field coordination.
