The position is on-site in Los Angeles with a permanent, full-time arrangement. A SE license, 7+ years of experience, and a track record in steel/concrete systems are required, along with California code familiarity.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of structural engineering experience (building design focus).
• Strong background in steel and concrete structural systems.
• SE license required.
• Proven experience managing projects and leading teams.
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Experience with seismic design and California codes preferred.
• Exposure to DSA or HCAI/OSHPD projects is a plus.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design and coordination efforts across multiple projects.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables from concept through construction.
• Oversee and mentor teams of engineers and BIM/modeling staff.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, architects, and contractors.
• Ensure successful project execution while maintaining quality and efficiency standards.
• Participate in construction administration efforts including RFIs, submittals, and field coordination.
