You will oversee schedules and budgets, mentor engineers and BIM staff, coordinate with architects and contractors, and ensure quality throughout delivery. California codes, seismic design experience, and SE license are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of structural engineering experience with building design focus.
• Strong background in steel and concrete structural systems.
• SE license required.
• Proven experience managing projects and leading teams.
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Experience with seismic design and California codes preferred.
• Exposure to DSA or HCAI/OSHPD projects is a plus.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design and coordination efforts across multiple projects.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables from concept through construction.
• Oversee and mentor teams of engineers and BIM/modeling staff.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, architects, and contractors.
• Ensure successful project execution while maintaining quality and efficiency standards.
• Participate in construction administration efforts including RFIs, submittals, and field coordination.
