Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 3+ years of structural engineer experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD, RAM, ETABS, SAFE or similar tools.
• Experience with an engineering consulting firm preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review structural documents for conflicts with other disciplines.
• Write and edit structural specifications, select procedures and sizes, and perform calculations.
• Coordinate the structural design team through design development and contract document phases.
• Participate in reviews with governing agencies for code compliance.
• Lead design development and site sessions with project manager and other disciplines.
• Ensure documents are completed on schedule and coordinate with affected disciplines.
