Job summary

Target Optical in Bluffton, SC, part of EssilorLuxottica, seeks a Store Manager to lead a high-performing team and deliver an outstanding guest experience at our optical store. You will oversee scheduling, performance reviews and store operations to meet brand goals and drive growth.

The role emphasizes people development, guest-ready standard, and collaborating with eye doctors where applicable, while managing daily store activities and KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Opticianary License or ABC Certification as required by state law.
• 5+ years experience in customer service and retail.
• 3+ years management or supervisory experience.
• Recruiting, selection and development of talent.
• Selling skills.
• Motivating and influencing others.

Responsibilities

• Ensures Team Members deliver an outstanding guest experience with every guest, every time by modeling and coaching the playground rules.
• Sets clear expectations that the store and Team Members be Guest Ready.
• Helps Team Members understand that delivering both the Playground Rules and being Guest Ready are key success factors.
• Orchestrates the floor flow and is the caretaker to every guest and team member.
• Develops action plans for immediate and future development.
• Conducts payroll weekly and completes new hire paperwork.
