Job summary

Mondelēz International is seeking a Stationary Engineer to ensure safe, efficient operation of boilers, HVAC, ammonia chillers, and wastewater systems in a Chicago-area facility. The role includes troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, testing, and performing repairs and preventative maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have a Chicago Stationary Engineer license, refrigeration certification, and experience with large-scale food manufacturing equipment.

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance and equipment diagnostics knowledge.
• Troubleshooting and root cause analysis in plant environments.
• Ability to read and interpret facility drawings and specifications.
• Strong safety and sanitation awareness in a food-manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair production equipment in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Provide technical assistance and resolution when facility problems are encountered.
• Collaborate with building engineers to identify and solve problems; build and repair testing equipment.
• Lay out and install piping systems and maintain knowledge of distribution systems.
• Analyze information to resolve operating or design-related problems.
