Job summary

TURAS Hospice & Palliative Care in Medina, OH is seeking a full-time Master Social Worker or Licensed Social Worker to join our team. The MSW/LSW will manage all aspects of patient social services and supervise the social work team, ensuring high-quality, compliant care.

The role requires strong leadership, clinical oversight, and excellent communication skills. Working hours are Monday–Friday with occasional evenings or weekend events as needed; compensation is commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• A master’s degree in social work (MSW), A bachelors degree (LSW).
• At least one (1) years management experience, preferably in healthcare, hospice experience preferred.
• Demonstrates an ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel.
• Knowledge of corporate business management, governmental regulations and CHAP standards.
• Demonstrates good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruits, selects, orients, and directly manages members of the social service team
• Supervises the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of social service clinical care by members of the social work team
• Assures proper documentation of social services in clinical records follow state, federal, and CHAP standards
• Maintains comprehensive working knowledge of the field of social work and shares information with appropriate organization personnel

TURAS Hospice & Palliative Care is currently searching for a full-time Master Social Worker or Licensed Social Worker to join our team in Medina, Ohio! In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the provision of patient social services including managing the members of the social work team.

• 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
