Job summary

Management & Training Corporation (MTC) operates the Edison Job Corps Center in Edison, NJ, seeking a full-time RN instructor to deliver career technical training according to approved curricula. You will guide students, provide direction, and support their learning and career development.

Responsibilities include preparing lessons, coordinating with counselors, and documenting outcomes using CIS and other systems.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license.
• Two (2) years experience; at least 1 in long-term facility.
• Must complete a course in teaching adults or have experience teaching adults.

Responsibilities

• Provide students with direction, instruction, and assistance in designated areas of instruction.
• Motivate and counsel students in behavior, training, personal problems, or study habits.
• Coordinate with counselors and staff to resolve issues affecting student training and/or instruction.
• Develop and prepare lessons in accordance with approved curriculum guidelines; recommend curricula changes and supplemental materials.
• Maintain organized, clean, and safe training environment.
• Participate in student assessment panels, perform required documentation and evaluation.

Education

Active unrestricted RN license

Two years experience in long-term facility

Ability to teach adults or completed course in teaching adults

Valid driver license
