Job summary

Management & Training Corporation (MTC) operates the Edison Job Corps Center in Edison, NJ, and seeks staff to coordinate and implement the career preparation period program for new students, ensuring compliance with government and management directives.

You will develop and deliver career preparation lessons, recommend training programs, and coordinate arrival activities, with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years related experience or more is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement the career preparation period program for new students in compliance with government and management directives.
• Develop, prepare, and deliver career preparation lessons using a variety of teaching strategies.
• Recommend an appropriate training program for each student using background files, interviews, tests and other assessment tools.
• Conduct pre-arrival contacts with potential enrollees and coordinate arrival activities with center departments.
• Review and audit all assigned areas for contractual compliance and effectiveness of service delivery; prepare related reports.
• Participate in student employability programs and activities.
