Job summary

Management & Training Corporation (MTC) operates the Earle C Clements Job Corps Center in Morganfield, KY, seeking an instructor to deliver academic and career technical instruction. You will train students per approved curricula and support their goals in a structured day shift.

The role requires an RN with at least two years' experience (including long-term care exposure) or equivalent teaching experience, plus a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• RN with minimum 2 years experience, including long-term facility exposure.
• Instructor must complete a course in teaching adults or have experience teaching adults.
• A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
• Certified, licensed, or accredited in the state of employment by a professional trade organization.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students in designated academic and career technical areas per curricula.
• Provide training, guidance, and direction to help students achieve goals.
• Motivate and counsel students on behavior, training, and study habits.
• Coordinate with counselors and staff to resolve issues affecting training.
• Develop lessons per approved curricula and suggest changes.
• Maintain a clean, safe training environment.
• Participate in student assessment panels and complete documentation in CIS and other systems.

Education
