Job summary

Management & Training Corporation in New Orleans, LA seeks an Instructor for Certified Nurse Assistant (RN) program. You will oversee academic and career technical trade instruction per approved curricula and guide students toward their academic and trade goals.

Responsibilities include delivering structured lessons, motivating and counseling students, coordinating with counselors, preparing lessons, maintaining a safe training environment, and participating in student assessments using CIS and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• RN or LPN licensure preferred, but CNA license acceptable.
• Experience instructing or supervising in a professional environment.
• A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

• Provide students with direction, instruction, and assistance in designated areas of instruction.
• Motivate and counsel students in areas of behavior, training, personal problems, or study habits.
• Coordinate with counselors and staff as necessary to resolve issues affecting student training and/or instruction.
• Develop and prepare lessons in accordance with approved curriculum guidelines, recommend curricula changes and supplemental materials.
• Maintain organized, clean, and safe training environment.
• Participate in student assessment panels, perform required documentation and evaluation using CIS (Center Information System) and other documentation systems.

What you will be doing:
