Job summary

Management & Training Corporation (MTC) operates the Edison Job Corps Center in Edison, NJ. We are seeking staff to coordinate and implement the career preparation period for new students, ensuring compliance with government and management directives.

The role offers a full-time schedule with regular 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday. You will develop and deliver lessons, tailor training programs, conduct pre-arrival communications, and monitor contractual compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two (2) year related experience.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

• Coordinating and implementing the career preparation period program for new students, in compliance with government and management directives.
• Develop, prepare, and deliver career preparation lessons using a variety of teaching strategies to meet student learning needs.
• Recommend an appropriate training program for each assigned student using background files, interviews, tests, and other assessment tools.
• Conduct pre-arrival contacts with potential enrollees; mail pre-arrival and safe arrival letters; coordinate arrival activities with center departments.
• Review and audit all assigned areas for contractual compliance and effectiveness; prepare related reports.
• Participate in student employability programs and activities.
