Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Claims Advocate – Risk Services to drive client advocacy and claims resolution. Remote for Florida-based candidates with two-line-of-business experience and an active adjuster license required.

You will analyze loss data, manage complex claims, and support sales with insights, while upholding service standards. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office; high integrity and collaborative mindset

Qualifications

• 5+ years of claims handling experience; preferred agency advocate or liaison role.
• Licensed Insurance Adjuster or state equivalent.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multi-tasking, organizational, delegation, and decision‑making skills.
• Ability to perform large work volumes with high accuracy.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Meet production, quality, and service expectations.
• Deliver outstanding service by anticipating client needs and responding promptly.
• Serve as a dedicated advocate, providing ongoing support and consultation.
• Manage complex or delayed claims to ensure timely and favorable outcomes.
• Review aggravated inequity loss reports and take corrective actions.
• Track triggered claim activities and implement follow‑up actions.
• Conduct and participate in formal claims reviews and audits.
• Monitor workers compensation claims and drive them to closure.
• Perform reserve analysis to ensure timely and accurate case reserves.
• Build and maintain carrier relationships to influence positive claim outcomes.
• Mediate between clients and carriers for effective resolutions.
• Provide ongoing education on statutes, state procedures, and best practices.
• Identify claims trends and collaborate with Risk Advocates.
• Assist with Producer presentations and contribute to sales through claims insights.
• Prepare and deliver stewardship and unit stat reporting.
