Job summary

Walmart Inc. is seeking a Licensed Facilities Maintenance Manager to oversee predictive and preventative maintenance across a regional area. You’ll lead a team of technicians, ensuring buildings operate safely and efficiently while partnering with store managers and leadership.

The role requires roughly 50% travel, interaction with vendors, and ongoing training to meet regulatory standards. Prior engineering/maintenance leadership and licensing are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field and 3 years’ experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering, or related area.
• Or 5 years’ experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering, or related area.
• EPA Universal Certification
• PMP Certification
• Lean Six Sigma
• Maintain Mechanical Contractor license in state of employment

Responsibilities

• Oversee predictive and preventative maintenance of facilities within a regional area.
• Lead a team of technicians, ensuring safe and efficient building operations.
• Collaborate with Store Managers and Facility Services Leadership on facility needs.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
• Prepare and present reporting and analytics on maintenance activities.
• Maintain up-to-date contractor licenses and comply with authorities.
• Participate in training on regulatory requirements and inspections to ensure compliance.
