Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's Degree or higher required.
• Licenses/Certifications: Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (IDFPR) and Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients, family, caregivers, students, and other health care providers using relevant teaching methods.
• Follows the therapist's plan of care and adjusts treatment based on patient response with documented communication.
• Produces documentation according to Clinical Documentation Policy and daily notes.
• Completes annual education for DNV Hip and Knee Replacement Program requirements.
• Follows treatment plan of care including therapeutic exercise, gait and balance training, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, aquatic therapy.
