Job summary

Seton Nursing and Rehab is seeking full-time Licensed Physical Therapist Assistants to join our in-house therapy team. The PTA will provide comprehensive treatment under the supervision of a PT, and will document progress and required notes consistently.

Responsibilities include interdisciplinary collaboration, treatment implementation per plan, and participation in resident care plan activities to enhance quality of life for residents. A current PTA license/registration is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold current PTA license/registration.
• Experience assisting licensed PTs under supervision.
• Ability to document care and progress per guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of a PT according to state guidelines.
• Document progress in daily treatment notes and complete required documentation.
• Document treatments and follow up with interdisciplinary team members.
• Implement and conduct treatment as outlined in the treatment plan.
• Monitor treatments as indicated by physician orders.
• Participate in implementation of resident care plans.
• Work with interdisciplinary team to improve residents' quality of life.
