Job summary

Seton Nursing and Rehab is seeking a full-time Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our in-house therapy team. The PTA will work under a PT supervisor to deliver comprehensive treatment to residents in a skilled nursing/rehab setting.

Must hold current PTA license/registration. The role emphasizes interprofessional collaboration, documentation, and contributing to resident care plans to improve quality of life.

Qualifications

• Must provide current license and/or registration as Physical Therapist Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of a PT according to state practice guidelines.
• Document progress in daily treatment notes and complete all required documentation as indicated by state guidelines.
• Document treatments and follow up with interdisciplinary team members for best practice.
• Implement and conduct treatment as outlined in the treatment plan.
• Monitor treatments as indicated by physician orders.
• Participate in implementation of resident care plans.
• Work with interdisciplinary team to improve residents' quality of life by providing optimal care and address care plans.
