Job summary

Creative Solutions In HealthCare is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house team. You will administer prescribed physical therapy to residents to improve mobility, strength, and quality of life under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

The role requires an active Texas PTA license, good standing with regulatory boards, and strong communication and teamwork skills. SNF or long-term care experience is preferred, with opportunities for ongoing education and

Qualifications

• Active and valid Texas Physical Therapy Assistant license.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain, improve or restore function, and promote healing under PT supervision.
• Provide skilled physical therapy services and interventions under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Respond to requests for service by relaying information and referrals to the Physical Therapist.
• Implement and modify patients’ plans of care under PT supervision.
• Measure and record patients’ motor function, strength, and muscle performance.
• Monitor patient response to treatment interventions and modify approaches as clinically appropriate in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide clinical support and education to patients, family members, and caregivers.
• Ensure documentation is completed thoroughly and timely in compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations.
• Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab
